In April of 2021 my husband, Blaine, and I were married! BEST DAY EVER!

Now I think he knew this long before we were engaged but he definitely realized I was just a little bit crazy. lol As we were planning out all the details for the wedding I told him I planned to make all the desserts. I told him I planned on making our cake and that we were having a dessert bar as well.
He really thought I was crazy but relented non the less.
The week of our wedding I prepared cheesecake bites, cupcakes, cookies, macs, and our three-tiered wedding cake. I had originally planned for just one day of baking but soon found other wedding needs pushed closer and closer to my baking day.
My amazing cousins came into help on the eve of the wedding. They learned how to ice cupcakes and bake cookie and make icing. It was a whirlwind of a time! Within a few short hours we had everything baked and decorated. All we had to do was deliver it to the venue. We packed the vehicles full and made sure nothing would slide. We then all headed on a 20-minute journey to the venue. (So thankful our venue let us in at any time during the week before the wedding)
It was late by the time we got almost everything placed or prepped to be set out during the day of the wedding. I just had to place the tiers of the cake together. It ended up turning out just how I wanted to.

Baking all the goodies for your own wedding definitely took more time than expected but I love how it all turned out. I'm so thankful for a husband who supports my crazy ideas and dreams!
